Both thrilled and humbled to share my essay, “picnic by the dark water,” which was published yesterday by The Shanghai Literary Review.
Last year was a tough one for our FilAm community in the DC area, after having lost (though they remain connected with us still) several dear members who were practically like family. Also, my own father over two years back. This was my way of honoring them and the legacies we all carry on.
